An initiative of Meat and Livestock Australia and Livecorp, a new Beef Breeder Manual for Cold Climates has recently been published by Meat & Livestock Australia on behalf of the Australian Live Export Program. ILRIC contributed funding for development and production of the publication.
The 195 page book provides very detailed information on all aspects of managing cattle in very cold climates including nutrition, provision of adequate shelter and treatment and prevention of common cattle diseases.
