Breed Registry System

The Breed Registry System has been developed as a comprehensive system for maintaining the databases of dairy breed societies. It integrates into one database a wide range of functions including; registrations, transfers, membership data, type classification, milk production and estimated breeding values. A comprehensive system for internet enquiry and listing of animals for sale is also available.

New registrations may be submitted by paper, over the Internet or by telephone. This will allow, for example, Holstein breeders in China to register cattle on Australia's Holstein-Friesian database. The Holstein-Friesian, Jersey, Ayrshire and Red Breed Associations are all users of the system operating in Australia, USA, Canada and the Republic of South Africa.

Breeders in any country can process online registrations using the Breed Registry System. This allows Holstein breeders in China to register cattle on Australia's Holstein-Friesian database. The Holstein-Friesian, Jersey, Ayrshire and Red Breed are all users of the system which is operating in Australia, USA, Canada and South Africa.
